An excellent example of an original mid century low glazed bookcase/ unit/ sideboard in oak and oak veneer, with original glass sliding doors. Produced around the late 1950’s to mid 1960’s this is a really clean and completely original example by Meredew. It’s design and condition are both pretty rare to find. It is a really attractive size, superb colour with original adjustable shelves and original glass. We love the details of the brass shelf supports and adjusting mechanism, as we do the really well designed and attractive turned legs.

At 76.5cm high it offers lots of flexible storage capabilities as a bookcase, drinks cabinet. sideboard, bedroom cabinet, bathroom cabinet etc. It can easily be accommodated in to living, dining or bedroom styling. The shelves are adjustable or removable by moving the pegs/ supports for each shelf. Fantastic and highly desirable mid century styling.
