We are very pleased to be able to bring this rare antique piece to our website. It is simply stunning. Manufactured by Globe Wernicke around the early 1930’s it would have been sat in a warehouse office for filing in the drawers and storage of details on index cards. It is manufactured from radial cut, top quality oak and oak veneer (sides). The brass ware on the front is original and has been fully cleaned. It is quite simply the best example of aged handles and brass label holders that we have see. And we have seen a lot of pieces!

A gorgeous early 20th Century glazed dresser / cabinet in oak. It dates from around the early 1930’s and has completely original cabinetry, glass, lock and key. We added a new solid wooden clad back panel and painted it white. This has brought the piece right on trend. We think it would make a fantastic and individual kitchen / diner cabinet. However, it could also be a bathroom cabinet, bookcase, display cabinet etc.
Superb rustic chic charm.

This gym bench and baskets dates to around the 1970’s and came out of a school in Wisbech. Great solid weight and quality to the top, with black powder coated shoe baskets below. We had to add new legs t the bench as the original ones were rusted and cut to fit over radiator pipes. The legs are steel and have been sprayed in a gloss black, to tie in with the baskets. This bench has all the superb old school styling you could want. A perfect way of tidying up a hallway or entrance whilst adding a real style statement.
We also have lot of original mid century gym hooks in stock (original chrome ones from Mount Kelly school, painted ones, stripped, chrome, numbered, on back boards etc. etc.). If you would like a board with original steel gym hooks on, just drop us a message with your requirements.
