This is a beautiful late 19th Century church pew made from antique pitch pine around 1880-1900. The condition of the pew is very good and the whole bench is structurally sound with no joint movements. The colour is perfect as is the overall patina and feel of the pew.
The quality of the backrest makes this pew stand out head and shoulders from all other pews. It has been reupholstered in a deep red aniline leather with very high quality button back upholstery work. The leather is of a high quality thick grade and is in excellent condition, save for a couple of superficial marks. No tears, rips or cracks. We gave the pew and leather a good clean and treated the leather with a quality leather moisturising cream to bring out the beautiful colour and finish.
We think this would makes a beautiful hall or dress bench. A piece which will surely gain lots of comments.
This is a stunning antique bench with stand out quality that will just keep getting better and better.

This is a beautiful, solid English oak Victorian bench, dating back to the mid 19th Century (probably c1850-1870). A very elegant classic shape of excellent design and quality. The quality of wood and the turning, together with the colour and patina of the oak really make this bench stand out.
We have fully refurbished this bench by hand. The frame work has been completely stripped of old (peeling varnish) sanded, oiled and varnished for protection. The seat has been stripped back to the framework, re-webbed, re-padded with the original horse hair then re-covered. The upholstery is in a beautiful teal colour and of a very soft to touch short velvet pile.
A classic antique bench now ready to fit any contemporary or traditional home. Superb!

An original Georgian dresser with glazed upper doors (original glass). Classic Georgian styling with rounded corners to the dresser and rounded corners to the glazed panels. The piece originally dates from circa 1810-1837 and is very substantial in weight, compared to the overall dimensions. The dresser is made from solid walnut but was in need of repair and restoration. We refinished the piece in Farrow and Ball’s Off Black eggshell to the exterior and Shaded White internally.
The upper section has no working lock but we have added a new lock to the bottom section to replace the old broken lock. A simple cabinet lock to keep the doors closed. Both drop handles to the upper and lower doors are original Georgian brass with beautiful antique design.
We believe the dresser now has all the character and appeal of an original antique but brought right on trend in these beautifully classic colours. Period and Contemporary fused together fantastically.
181cm High, 98.5cm Wide, 48cm Deep (max at bottom cornice), 33cm top section (upper cornice)
A fantastic mid Century (c 1950-60) index card cabinet. 5 pull out drawers with original brass handles and label holders. The cabinet is made from top quality radial cut oak and is a really good weight for the size of the piece, reflecting the quality of the hand made production. It is finished in original condition with solid construction throughout. These cabinets were produced by LibraCo for offices, libraries and general Government offices in the 1950’s-70’s.
The cabinet is very flexible in it’s use. We have styled it as a great TV stand but could easily be a side table, bedside cabinet, or even wine rack (each drawer will hold a bottle of wine comfortable).
