A simply stunning and totally unique dresser / cupboard on original quarter drawn solid oak. It dates from around 1890 to 1910 and has the most incredible weight and design. The quality of oak, with panelled sides make this piece weigh over 150 kgs in total – a reflection of the quality of oak used and the superior quality of the hand made cabinetry. The top and bottom do split to make transportation and moving easier. The tambour doors run well, as do all the amazingly deep drawers.
We think it makes a fantastic and individual kitchen / diner cabinet or a bookcase/ dresser. A true statement piece that will be the envy of many of your visitors!

A chic and stylish small linen cupboard that we fully refinished in Dulux Heritage Porcelain Blush colourway. The cupboard has also received a final protective coat of clear wax for resilience. We love the finished effect. A contemporary update to a classic piece offering lots of very useful storage. We think it could make a fantastic piece for bathroom towels, toiletries etc or for storing cosmetics and perfumes in a bedroom or dressing room? Very flexible storage that keeps its contents beautifully hidden away.
Stylish, great to look at and really useful. Exactly what we love to offer.

A superb desk in solid English quarter drawn oak, dating from the 1930’s. These desks typically came from a Government office/ Public Service such as Civil Servant Offices, Schools, Railways etc. This desk is stamped with GR and the crown on the original brass cup handles, together with GR VI and the crown to the underside. All drawers have their original and perfectly aged brass handles. The bottom drawer retains its original working lock and key. There is also a side flap extension to the right hand side should you need a slightly larger work space.
Now presented in a beautifully aged oak colour that only time can offer. We have had a number of these George V and George VI desks and they always sell so quickly.
This will only get better with age and appreciate in value. A superb quality antique desk.

A gorgeous c1950’s teachers desk handmade in solid beech. It dates from around the late 1940’s mid 1950’sand is in completely original condition but fully cleaned and gently restored by us. It was issued by London City Council (1889 to 1965) and stamped LCC on the underside. The work surface is very clean and a great size for home – perfect for a regular use but stylish desk. The desk has two clean and free running drawers for storage. There is plenty of room between the legs for either a more modern and larger chair or a complementary vintage chair.
These mid Century teachers desks are always so popular. When they look like this with an LCC stamp – what is there not to love?

A gorgeous 5 drawer Architect/ Plan chest of drawers from Staverton (stamped and dated Feb 1966). The carcass and drawers are all original but we refinished them in black, with a clear wax for protection. This really makes the piece pop as the colour contrast beautifully with the refinished beech drawers. A new top was needed as the original one was way beyond repair. Internally the drawers are very clean. All in all a pretty rare and gorgeous piece!
We adore the design, colour and size of the chest. Use it now as a coffee table, a TV stand, art drawers, poster drawers etc. You choose 🙂
